Boschaero\Naval Research Lab Daily Report
8-7-03

Our morning starts early. We filed an IFR flight plan for Maryland Air Park.
Immediately after take-off was the last time we would see the ground until our arrival in Maryland.
A beautiful morning.

Flying on instruments through the storms, lasted for several hours.
Water has found its way through the air vent.
Four hours later, Jim slips Ivan into Maryland Air Park (2W5).

Jim sits on the wing and fuels.
Jack passes Jim the fuel hose.
Mike installs the gear necessary to sweep the aircraft for EMI. (Electro Magnetic Interference)

After an already exhausting day, the antenna was assembled and installed.
We flew for several more hours, checking all of the spectrums for interference. No interference was found and Ivan was now validated to fly the actual payload.
Jim, Mike and Ivan are done for the day!
