Boschaero\Naval Research Lab Daily Report
Sunday 5-30-99

A huge storm lay between us and Lee Stocking Island as you can see it is blowing on shore.
Most of the flight to the island was spent dodging small storm pockets.
A brief stop to pick up the crew.
Just after take off we experienced what we thought was an engine problem so we called for a life vest drill. It was not a problem after all, what occurred was the leading edge slats on the left wing could not decide what to do and were banging in and out, several times, just as Jim made a power adjustment. All was well and every one came out of it fine. Doesn't Mary look happy?
A sail boat in our path.
A helo comes to check us out, again.
This was the flight conditions most of the way back to Nassau.
It's not even hurricane season yet!
