Boschaero\Naval Research Lab Daily Report
7-28-00

The weather was very overcast this morning. This is a picture of the Brigantine Beach from my upstairs room.
I am experimenting with new camera angles again. This time it is mounted (zip tied and duck taped) to an antenna on top of the aircraft.
This is a great spot for a camera if all you plan on using are still images. The vibration factor was a bit much for video recording, in this location.

Mary, Marlon and Cyrol are looking at the NRL camera through the belly port. The "Death Ray" on the ground will eventually be used for calibration testing.
Jim and Mike located a generator to assist in the calibration testing.
This image reveals a closer look at this very strange looking calibration unit.

The generator could either not provide enough power to the test gear or the power was too dirty or a combination of the two. We were forced to round up all the extension cords we could lay our hands on and make a run from the black forest to the airplane.
After the calibration tests were complete Mary removes her "baby" from the aircraft and places it gently into the vehicle.
See ya guys!

This is Rutgers Field Laboratory. The structure originally was a U.S. Coast Guard Station.
Scott and I (Mike) walked from the field station to his car, to check out the rap party.
Jim and Judy enjoy the crab fest at the rap party.

This is not the official group shot, but I am sure one will turn up eventually.
